財務大臣（ざいむだいじん）は、各国において財務、財政、金融などを担当する大臣、長官のこと。

日本

日本の財務大臣（ざいむ だいじん、Minister of Finance）は、国務大臣の一つで、財務省の長。予算、税制、財政政策、国庫、国有財産管理を担当する。重要閣僚ポストの一つ。かつての大蔵大臣（おおくら だいじん）。2001年（平成13年）1月6日の中央省庁再編で大蔵省は財務省となり、大蔵大臣も財務大臣となった。

大蔵大臣・財務大臣経験者が内閣総理大臣になることが多い。

財務省では、善良な納税者および納税思想の普及に功績のある団体、個人に対して納税表彰を実施している。納税表彰の最高位にあるのが財務大臣表彰である。

イギリス

イギリスの財務大臣（ざいむだいじん、Chancellor of the Exchequer）は、イギリスの国政財務に対して責任を負う閣僚であり、大蔵省の長である。イギリスの四大大臣の一つ。

シンガポール

シンガポールの財務大臣（ざいむだいじん、Minister for Finance）は、国務大臣の一つで、財務省の長。シンガポールの経済の管理、統制について責任を負い、その権限は主に会社法、商業登記法、貨幣法、会計法によって規定されている。
